AAUW Community Action Grant

The AAUW Community Action Grant, administered by the Longmont Community Foundation, offers $3,000 to nonprofit organizations focused on promoting education and equity for women and girls. Eligible projects must be nonpartisan and located within the St. Vrain Valley School District. The grant aims to empower local initiatives that align with the mission of AAUW, fostering positive societal change and supporting diverse community needs.

About AAUW
AAUW promotes equity and education for all women and girls, lifelong education,and positive societal change. In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. The Longmont branch also awards at least one local scholarship and contributed to major scholarships, fellowships and grants through the national AAUW organization.
The Community Action Grant Fund of the Longmont chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will award a total of $3,000 to nonprofit organizations whose projects meet the following qualifications:
Vrain Valley School District.
Funding
If the grant recipient is unable to use the grant money for the designated project, the award money shall be returned to the Longmont Community Foundation and placed back into the AAUW Community Action Grant Fund.
