Overview

Left Hand Giving Circle (LHGC) is a group of local women committed to improving our community through philanthropic donations and group volunteer projects.

Left Hand Giving Circle is seeking applications related to the theme of Environment - organizations that engage community members to promote climate and environmental sustainability.  Applicants can include organizations that impact our local environment and/or those that engage local community members in improving any aspect of the global environment.

Grants: Up to $7,500 in grants will be made. In the past, Left Hand Giving Circle has made grants of $5,000 and $2,500 but may change based on applications.

* All qualified organizations are welcome to apply, but Left Hand Giving Circle tends to focus on small to medium size nonprofits where they feel they can have the greatest impact

Ineligibility

* Although LHGC makes grants to nonprofits affiliated with religious organizations, we do not grant to those that only serve clients that share the same religious faith, nor to those that actively engage in activities that try to convert clients to their faith
* LHGC will not award grants to organizations who have received an award from us in the past two years.
