The purposes of Reinsurance Association of America are to assist members in protecting the interests of the industry; to act as the industry representative before congress, federal and state regulatory and administrative bodies and commissions, and the public; and to assist reinsurers in providing coverage and service responsive to the evolving needs of primary insurers and the public by collecting and disseminating information and by providing a forum for the discussion and consideration of this information.
