THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO PREGNANT WOMEN IN NEED THROUGH EMOTIONAL, MATERIAL, AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT, AS WELL AS LINKS TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES, TO SUPPORT THEIR DECISION TO PARENT OR CONSIDER ADOPTION FOR THEIR BABY. A TRAINED VOLUNTEER, KNOWN AS AN ANGEL, IS ASSIGNED TO THE MOTHER WHEN SHE CALLS FOR HELP AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING ONGOING CONTACT WITH HER. THE GABRIEL PROJECT ALSO ENLISTS THE CHURCH COMMUNITY, THROUGH WHICH THE MOTHER RECEIVES ADDITIONAL LOVE, CARE, MATERIAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT.
