Overview

The Mission of the Women’s Giving Circle is: to share the joy of giving;build the ethic of living generously for future generations; andhelp members reach the most important needs in our community—together. Each year, the Women’s Giving Circle makes grants to nonprofits to support projects or programs that help women/children your organization serves gain self-sufficiency and/or significantly addresses barriers to opportunity for women/children. In keeping with its tradition of serving the nonprofit community with many types of gifts, nonprofits are also encouraged to share their needs for volunteers and goods or supplies on the application. Funding The Women’s Giving Circle supports one-year awards of up to $5,000.

Eligibility

The following are EXCLUDED from consideration:Organizations that promote a particular religious or political ideologyCapital projects and campaignsDinner galas, advertising, and other special fundraising eventsPrograms to be implemented outside of the CFGD service areaPrograms receiving funding from the Circle the previous year (the same organization may apply for a different program each year).
