Whisper Foundation Grant

The Whisper Foundation provides ongoing support for non-profit organizations in Pierce County, Washington, focusing on improving the quality of life for underserved communities. With no set deadline for Letters of Intent (LOIs), grant requests over $50,000 are considered, prioritizing areas like animal welfare, education, and health services. Note: There is no deadline for submitting a LOI. Our foundations board reviews the LOI’s on an ongoing basis, but we ask that you allow 12-16 weeks for a response. The response time can vary depending on the volume of requests, the timing of proposals and our foundations monthly and quarterly review schedules.

Eligibility

Grant Requirements

All applicant organizations must qualify as tax-exempt organizations under the Internal Revenue Code. Grants to any one organization will generally not be approved more often than once a year and will not constitute a guarantee of future funding.
Grant application cover letter must be signed by the Executive Director of the organization.
