Overview

UEC Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Purpose: Designed to encourage college students who have completed their freshman year to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering-Power Systems.

Geographic Scope: Umatilla or Morrow County

Eligibility:

  • Student who has completed freshman year in college

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Systems at an accredited 4-year college or university

  • From Umatilla or Morrow County

  • Must enter college as sophomore or above in the fall of the school year for which the scholarship is given
  • Award Amount: One $5,000 scholarship per year

    Selection Criteria:

  • Academic excellence

  • Work experience

  • Participation in school and community activities
  • Recipient Obligations:

  • Attend UEC Annual Meeting during year of scholarship award

  • Use scholarship for educational costs only
