UEC Academic Scholarship
Purpose: Designed to encourage and recognize the academic achievements of UEC members and/or their dependent children to assist with college education.
Geographic Scope: Morrow or Umatilla County high school graduates
Eligibility:
Award Amount: Minimum of 14 scholarships at $3,000 each; total of $42,000 awarded annually

How to Apply
1. Complete the state's Office of Student Access & Completion (OSAC) scholarship application at oregonstudentaid.gov
2. UEC's designation in OSAC system: "244 – Umatilla Electric Cooperative"
3. Submit all necessary information by the deadline listed in the information flyer for the upcoming school year
4. Applicant is responsible for ensuring all required materials are submitted
- OSAC application form
- Two 1-page essays: - Essay on long-range goals - Essay on significant challenges or accomplishments
- Academic transcripts (GPA information)
- Work experience documentation
- School and community activity participation records
