Travel Grant
Funder: SPHS Tiger Booster Club
Purpose: The SPHS Tiger Booster Club has budgeted funds for Competition Travel Grants for teams/groups who have been invited to compete or have earned a berth in a structured progressive competition and need assistance with travel expenses.
Geographic Scope: South Pasadena High School (SPHS), South Pasadena, CA
- Teams/groups must have been invited to compete OR earned a berth in a structured progressive competition
- Request can be submitted as soon as the team/group qualifies for the competition
- For athletic teams and student groups at SPHS
Eligibility
- Typical range: $500-$3,000
- Applicants may apply for more if the group traveling has a large number of students
- Partial grants may be awarded
- Award amount determined at discretion of SPHS Tiger Booster Club Board
Award Details
- SPHS Tiger Booster Board reviews requests at the Board meeting immediately following submission
- Applicants receive notice within a week of review
- All payments made by SPHS Tiger Booster Club
