Overview

TMT Law & Policy Pipeline Program - Certificate Program

Purpose: A substantive academic enrichment curriculum designed to provide first-year law students (particularly those from underrepresented groups pursuing TMT law careers) with comprehensive education in technology, media, and telecommunications law and policy foundations.

Program Focus: Coverage of key principles, statutes, and regulations that form the foundation of TMT law and policy

Geographic Scope: National participation (program serves first-year law students from across the country)

Eligibility:

  • First-year law students interested in TMT law and policy

  • All students who reach interview stage in Pipeline internship program are invited to participate

  • Participation does not require securing an internship placement
  • Program Format:

  • 8 immersive, full-day sessions

  • Curriculum-based academic enrichment

  • Practical skills and knowledge development
  • Participation Requirements:

  • Students selected for internships participate in Certificate Program

  • All interview-stage candidates invited to participate regardless of internship outcome
  • Mission: Foster meaningful representation and inclusion in legal profession within public, private, non-profit, and government organizations in TMT sectors
