The Harry Tennison Scholarship Fund

Funder: Sportsmen's Club of Fort Worth (TX, US)

Purpose:
Provide financial assistance to current college students and graduating high school seniors pursuing studies in outdoor and/or wildlife management, conservation, research, and education.

Geographic Scope:

Residency Required: North Texas region

School Location: Any post-secondary college, university, or other institution in the United States

Eligibility:

Current college students OR graduating secondary school seniors

Reside in North Texas region

Attend or plan to attend a post-secondary institution in the U.S.

Emphasis of studies must include: outdoor and/or wildlife management, conservation, research, and/or education

Must maintain good academic standing to continue receiving award

No restrictions based on: age, sex, race, creed, national origin, or religion

Award Details:

Amount: Targeted between $5,000 - $8,000

Timing: Awards targeted for May or June prior to beginning of school year

Funding Access: Recipients must access awarded funds within six months of award notification

Academic Requirement: Recipient must remain in good academic standing and continue enrolled in course of study, or award terminates

Verification: Recipient must provide transcript confirming good academic standing
