Teacher Mini-Grants

Overview: McMinnville Education Foundation (MEF) provides mini-grants to McMinnville School District (MSD) staff to enrich classrooms, grade level teams, and whole schools by introducing projects and experiences that align with MEF's mission to expand educational opportunities and encourage excellence, innovation, and creativity.

Geographic Scope: McMinnville School District, McMinnville, Oregon

Eligibility: MSD staff members

Focus Areas: Educational enrichment across all grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school), including but not limited to:

  • STEM and robotics

  • Literacy and reading

  • Arts and music

  • Social-emotional learning

  • Field trips and cultural experiences

  • Hands-on learning experiences
  • History: Since 2000, MEF has awarded 708 mini-grants valued over $627,900. Mini-grants often become established educational programs (e.g., Oregon Battle of the Books, K-5 Science Experiences).
