Richmond Area Section Scholarship The SWE Richmond Section was founded in 1988 with Shannon Venable as the first president. Engineers living in central Virginia, including but not limited to the Richmond metropolitan area, Petersburg, and Charlottesville, are supported by this SWE professional section. The SWE Richmond Area Section Scholarship is open to those who are entering the field of engineering or computer science.Eligibility
