Ignite Leadership Program At SWE, we’re committed to advancing women engineers at every stage of their careers. The Ignite Leadership Program is designed to empower early-career SWE members to recognize their current leadership strengths, identify opportunities for growth, and craft a personalized plan to enhance their leadership abilities. Over time, the program aims to broaden the SWE leadership pipeline, preparing today’s emerging leaders to become tomorrow’s SWE leaders. As a participant in Ignite, you’ll have the opportunity to: Identify features of each of the six Leadership Competency Model areas Describe current leadership strengths and opportunities for growth according to the Leadership Competency Model self-assessment results Design a leadership growth plan based on individualized areas of leadership development Ignite Leadership Program Format Ignite is a virtual cohort-style program running from September to December 2025, with sessions that include a mix of group discussions and peer coaching circles.
