The Maine Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE F004) has been active for well over 40 years. Our members work and live all over the state. SWE Maine Scholarship, Applications open for 2025! The Society of Women Engineers is Pleased to present our Maine SWE Scholarship for 2025. This scholarship is intended to encourage Maine High School Senior Girls to pursue Engineering in their education. Award Selection Criteria Maine SWE Scholarship Purpose: To encourage Maine high school Senior girls to enter the field of engineering. The secondary purpose is to promote Society of Women Engineers. The current scholarship value is over $1,000. Scholarship Management: Since Maine SWE is non-profit, there are no strict guidelines as to the management of the scholarship. However, the Scholarship chair will hold documentation for a minimum of five years. The Maine Section of the Society of Women Engineers has the sole responsibility for selecting recipients.
