Overview:
Inaugural design competition inviting K-12 student teams to design an exhibit for the Heritage Center's forthcoming Space Medal of Honor Gallery. The challenge combines STEM learning with Medal of Honor values and space exploration.
- Student teams take on the role of Museum Exhibit Designer
- Create an exhibit concept for the Space Medal of Honor Gallery
- First year received over 100 submissions
- Multiple rounds of judging with final presentations at the Heritage Center
- Judges include NASA officials, aerospace industry leaders, and Medal of Honor Recipients
