Overview: New competitive grant program supporting robotics education programs for K-12 students across TVA's seven-state service area.

Program Background

• Inaugural year launched April 1, 2025
• Designed to develop workforce of the future in science, technology, and engineering
• Supports K-12 robotics programs in public, private schools, and nonprofit organizations

Geographic Scope

• Service Area: TVA's seven-state region (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Virginia)
• Eligibility: Schools and organizations in TVA service area receiving power from TVA-served LPCs

Focus

• Supporting robotics educators and students
• Developing next generation of innovators in STEM
• Building pipeline of skilled professionals for TVA and regional businesses

Eligibility

• K-12 teachers and school administrators at public and private schools
• Program leaders at nonprofit organizations
• Must be in TVA's seven-state service area
• Must receive power from a TVA-served Local Power Company (LPC)

• Award Range: Various amounts up to $5,000
