ADVANCE HEALTHY AND LOW-CARBON DEVELOPMENT China’s extraordinary development has been accompanied by severe environmental degradation with adverse human and economic impacts, as well as significant threats associated with climate change. As the Chinese government and people take consequential steps to respond in an increasingly integrated way, the RBF assists by engaging with and fostering collaborations among government, business, civil society, and academia. Goal: Advance Healthy and Low-Carbon Development Strategies: Supporting policy development to mitigate environmental pollution, climate change, and risks to human communities and ecological health.Strengthening environmental governance by promoting accountability, transparency, access to information, and legal protection.Engaging the business sector and catalyzing market forces to advance sustainable production and consumption practices.Building leadership capacity for effective collaborations on global sustainable development.
