  • Monthly virtual mentorship sessions with American and Japanese mentors

  • Peer-to-peer learning with fellow mentees

  • Knowledge exchange opportunities

  • In-person networking events in Nairobi

  • Connections and partnerships with mentors and industry stakeholders

  • No direct financial support or investment

    • Program Structure:

  • 15 climate-focused SMEs will be selected

  • Each SME matched to 3-5 mentors from U.S. and Japan

  • 60-80 mentors selected (3-4 mentors per SME)

    How to Apply

    Application Process - Mentee Track

    Eligibility Criteria:

  • Registered and operating business in Kenya

  • Operating in climate sectors (renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, e-mobility, etc.)

  • Minimum 2-year operating track record

  • Strong gender focus demonstrated through:

    • - Female representation in ownership, management, board
    - Female representation in employee base
    - Female representation in supply chain
    - Products/services targeting women
  • Commitment to participate in monthly virtual sessions with mentors

  • Commitment to in-person participation in launch event (1 July 2025) and closing event (January 2026) in Nairobi

    • Application Timeline (for Mentees):

  • Application deadline: 6 June 2025 at 5:00 PM EAT

  • Rolling review process (early submission encouraged)

  • Interviews and document requests: 9-20 June 2025

  • Participants announced: 20 June 2025

    • Application Requirements:

  • Submit through online application portal on AlphaMundi Foundation website

  • Complete application form

  • Receive screen confirmation upon submission

  • Selected applicants contacted for further interviews and documentation

    • Program Participation Commitments:

  • Monthly virtual mentorship sessions (July-December 2025)

  • In-person launch event (1 July 2025, Nairobi)

  • In-person closing event (January 2026, Nairobi)

  • Active engagement in peer learning with fellow mentees

  • Participation in knowledge exchange opportunities
