Overview

Young Lipid Scientist Award Established 2014 This award is to recognise excellence and emerging talent in research related to lipids, in any field across the physical and life sciences and engineering. Example areas include, but are not restricted to: neuroscience, digestion and metabolism, crystallisation of triacylglycerols, lipid oxidation, functioning of phospholipid membranes, compositional analysis, processing and disease prevention. Description of Award The winner will be selected by a vote of the Lipids Group Committee, and presented with their award at the end of the event. They will receive a prize of £100 and a certificate. The winner will also be eligible to receive up to £400 in expenses to enable them to present their work at an international conference (during 2024 or 2025).
