Overview

The AJ Banks Travel Bursary supports early-career PhD students in food science, engineering, and technology by funding attendance at international conferences and laboratory visits. Offered by SCI, the bursary encourages networking and knowledge sharing among young researchers. Applications open in September and close on October 31. Preference is given to those traveling outside their country of residence, enhancing global collaboration in scientific advancement.

SCI contributes towards the development of young PhD students by helping them broaden their vision and share cutting-edge knowledge at international conferences and laboratory visits. In this way, SCI helps young scientists learn from, and network with, top scientists from around the world.
The AJ Banks Award provides bursaries to support attendance at meetings for activities related to food science, engineering and technology.
