Summary

Overview

SCI contributes towards the development of young PhD students and postdoctoral researchers' careers by helping them broaden their vision and share cutting-edge knowledge at international conferences and laboratory visits. In this way, SCI helps young scientists learn from, and network with, top scientists from around the world. Richardson Awards Richardson Awards from the SCI Richardson Fund are offered to candidates working in the general field of research and development in process engineering, process chemistry and related topics for attendance at a conference(s) and/or visiting a relevant institution(s).

Applications will only be considered from SCI student or standard members.

Ineligibility

Applications will not be considered from those who have previously received an AJ Banks, Messel,  Leverhulme or Richardson travel bursary.Funding will not be given for visits which are part of the normal course of a co-sponsored PhD (e.g. visiting the partner site).
