Messel Travel Bursary Grant

The Messel Travel Bursary, funded by the Messel Trust Fund, supports postgraduate students in chemical science and related fields for attendance at meetings or laboratory visits. Eligible applicants include PhD students and those within ten years post-degree, who are presenting work at conferences. Priority is given to those traveling abroad. Note that e-members and previous bursary recipients are ineligible. This initiative fosters international collaboration and enhances research opportunities for early career scientists.

Messel Bursaries are funded by the Messel Trust Fund for postgraduate students to support their attendance at meetings and/or laboratory visits for activities related to chemical science (including all life sciences), engineering and technology.

Ineligibility

SCI travel bursaries are not available to SCI e-members or non-membersFunding will not be given for visits which are part of the normal course of a co-sponsored PhD (e.g. visiting the partner site)Applications will not be considered from those who have previously received an AJ Banks, Messel, Leverhulme or Richardson travel bursary
