Overview

David Miller Award The David Miller Travel Bursary Award aims to give two young plant scientists or horticulturists the opportunity of overseas travel in connection with their horticultural careers. The Award was set up in honour of David Miller MBE. The award is intended to supplement, rather than wholly finance, a journey. Within six weeks of the completion of their Travel Plan, recipients must submit a report describing the work carried out with the aid of the award. The recipients will then each receive a £500 travel grant, a year’s Student Membership of SCI, and a year's Eden Project Membership.
