Each year, the GRAMMY Museum Grant Program awards grants to organizations and individuals to support research on the impact of music on the human condition.

- Links between music and early childhood education
- Music therapy on populations from infants to the elderly
- Treatments for illnesses and injuries common to musicians

The LOI includes the following information:

2. Brief Description of Project
- Research question
- Methodology outline (number of subjects, control groups, etc.)
- Impact/application of research
- Existing project partners and/or financial support, if any
3. Dissemination Plan
- Description of intended dissemination plan of research findings (see guidelines)
4. Key Personnel Biographies
- Brief biographies of key personnel involved in project
