Geographic Scope: Southeastern District (SED), LCMS - K-8 Lutheran schools

Overview:
MALIM administers grants to support K-8 Lutheran schools in the Southeastern District. Recent major grant program was made possible by a generous donation from the Luther Memorial School Foundation of Richmond, VA.

Program History:
Grants were made for the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 school years. This grant program concluded in June 2021 after all funds from the Luther Memorial School Foundation were awarded.

Recent Grant Awards (2021):

• Concordia Preparatory School, Towson, MD
• Emmanuel Lutheran School, Asheville, NC
• Our Savior Lutheran School, Arlington, VA
• Resurrection Lutheran School, Cary, NC ($47,000 for Healthy Together project - recreational/outdoor learning areas)
• Risen Christ Academy, Myrtle Beach, SC
• St. John's Lutheran School, Winston-Salem, NC ($10,000 for computers, software, and iPads)

• Educational technology (computers, software, iPads)
• Facilities and recreational improvements
• Educational resources and equipment
