Geographic Scope: Southeastern District (SED), LCMS Mid-Atlantic Region

Overview:
MALIM seeks to fund innovative and creative projects that align with its core values and that reach out to communities and groups in new ways. Grants support mission-focused initiatives that increase outreach and serve underrepresented populations.

Eligibility Criteria:
MALIM evaluates applications considering:

  • Will the project increase mission outreach to the community?

  • Does the project include ministry to people not traditionally served or new groups not previously reached?

  • Target populations may include: people with limited incomes and opportunities, people of color, ethnic groups in the community, frail elders, people with disabilities

  • Innovative and creative approaches to community ministry
  • Application Policy:
    MALIM does not accept unsolicited grant applications. Initial inquiries are accepted through the Grant Inquiry Form only. If your proposal meets MALIM's grant criteria, you will be invited to complete a detailed grant application.

    Submission Timeline:
    Inquiries are accepted at any time (rolling basis)

    2. Wait for Response: If your proposal meets MALIM's grant criteria, you will be contacted via email

    3. Complete Full Application: Invited applicants will receive a detailed grant application to complete
