Salad Bars to Schools

Program Overview: The Chef Ann Foundation's Salad Bars to Schools program provides K–12 schools with the equipment and training they need to successfully install salad bars.

Impact: Since 2010, the program has donated over 6,000 salad bars, providing more than 3 million children with increased access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

Geographic Scope: National program. 2025 grantees awarded across 32 states and the District of Columbia, including:

  • Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming
  • Eligibility: K–12 schools
