Rooted Faith - Forward in Hope Grant: Strengthening Our Faith

The Rooted Faith - Forward in Hope Grant, managed by the Catholic Community Foundation, supports Diocesan agencies, schools, and parishes in the Diocese of Cleveland. This grant focuses on faith formation programming for all ages, fostering personal relationships with Jesus Christ. It emphasizes empowering families to cultivate a vibrant Catholic faith at home, while parishes partner with parents in this mission. Note that individual grants and multi-year funding are not available.

The Catholic Community Foundation manages a limited number of funds which provide for annual grant opportunities to Diocesan agencies, schools, parishes and programs and other faith-based or nonprofit organizations located within the Diocese of Cleveland, whose missions are consistent with the moral and social teaching of the Catholic Church.
At this time, we are not able to fund requests for annual appeals or membership drives, endowment funds or grants to individuals. The Foundation does not award multi-year grants, but grantees may apply for funding in consecutive years.
Rooted Faith - Forward in Hope Grant: Strengthening Our Faith
Strengthening Our Faith grants fund faith formation programming that assists children, teens, young adults and adults sustain and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Empowered Parents and Faith-Filled Families: Catholic parents and families must be a primary consideration in planning and programming so that they are empowered to develop a rich and vibrant Catholic faith within the home as domestic church. Parishes serve as lifelong partners with parents in this effort.
Faith Formation Programming assists missionary disciples to sustain and grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ supported through regular prayer, faith sharing and scripture reading.

Eligibility

Diocesan agencies, schools, parishes and programs and other faith-based or nonprofit organizations located within the Diocese of Cleveland, whose missions are consistent with the moral and social teaching of the Catholic Church.
