Ronan Tourism Grant Program

Supports the enhancement of Ronan as a destination for visitors and residents alike through community-driven investment.

Geographic Scope: Ronan, Montana (City of Ronan and surrounding community)

Focus Areas:

• Public art and mural projects
• Signage and downtown beautification
• Pathways and pedestrian trail improvements
• Tourism and event promotion efforts
• Visitor engagement and interactive mapping
• Business district revitalization

Program Goals:

• Improve walkability
• Develop public amenities
• Support unified identity for the town
• Fund projects like downtown signage, pedestrian-friendly trails, artistic installations, and visitor-focused upgrades
• Promote local pride and economic opportunity

Partners: City of Ronan, community partners, Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes

Related Program: Facade Improvement Grant (FIG) program - enhances visual appeal of Main Street through eligible improvements including painting/cleaning, new signage or lighting, repair/replacement of architectural details, window and door upgrades, awnings and canopies, and masonry repair
