We Will Grant Program

Overview: The Park County Community Foundation's annual competitive grant program that provides support to Park County nonprofits aligned with community priority areas. The program is resident-informed and combines public opinion with data to identify pressing needs and opportunities.

Geographic Scope: Park County, Montana and Mammoth, Wyoming

Focus Areas (Five Community Priority Areas):

  • Landscapes & Natural Amenities

  • Housing & Affordability

  • Health, Safety & Education

  • Small Town & Rural Lifestyle

  • Economic Performance
  • Eligibility:

  • Must be a 501(c)(3) organization, have a fiscal sponsor that is a 501(c)(3), or be a public entity

  • Located in Park County or with projects/programs in Park County, Montana or Mammoth, WY

  • Programming must benefit residents of Park County or Mammoth, WY

  • Each organization limited to one Letter of Interest submission

  • Organizations with previous PCCF funding must be current on all final grant reports

  • No multi-year funding currently available

  • Community projects

  • General operating costs

  • Arts, health and human services, education, and related charitable activities

  • Projects with demonstrated community impact
  • Selection Criteria:

  • Alignment with We Will Park County visioning process and community issues

  • Clarity about program impact on Park County residents

  • Demonstrated support from additional funding sources

    Application Process

    2026 Grant Cycle Timeline:
    1. Friday, November 7, 2025: Letter of Interest (LOI) and Slide Deck available online
    2. Friday, December 19, 2025 (11:59 PM): Deadline for submitting Letter of Interest
    3. Friday, January 30, 2026: Final Reports for 2025 We Will grant cycle due
    4. Week of February 9, 2026: Selected organizations invited to submit full grant application
    5. Week of March 23, 2026: Grant applications due
    6. Early May 2026 (TBD): Funding decisions announced and grant checks mailed

    Letter of Interest (LOI) Requirements:

  • Step-by-step guide available on Community Grants webpage

  • Must demonstrate alignment with the five community priority areas from the We Will visioning process

  • Must clearly articulate how program/project will impact Park County

  • Include specific details on resident benefit and geographic reach within county
  • Full Application Requirements (if selected):

  • Project/program budget
