Purpose: Commonwealth-funded grant program that supports the acquisition and construction of regional economic development, cultural, civic and historical improvement projects.

• Primary Focus: Regional economic development projects throughout Pennsylvania
• Administration: PIDC administers this program on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• Acquisition of property for economic development
• Construction of regional economic development projects
• Cultural improvement projects
• Civic improvement projects
• Historical improvement projects

PIDC's Role

As a conduit for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, PIDC:
• Does NOT determine grant eligibility criteria
• Does NOT participate in the selection process
• Directs applicants to appropriate partners, resources, and program applications
• Helps eligible recipients understand available programs and the funding process
