Rae Lee Siporin Scholarship for Women Grant

The Rae Lee Siporin Scholarship for Women provides financial assistance to women in New Mexico who are returning to complete their undergraduate degree after a break. Eligible applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled for at least one semester during the 2024-2025 academic year. Awards of up to $1,000 are offered annually to support their educational journey and help them graduate successfully.

The Rae Lee Siporin Scholarship for Women will make awards to those women who are continuing or returning to college/university for their first undergraduate degree and need financial assistance for their senior year of school..
The Rae Lee Siporin Scholarship for Women will make awards to women who previously withdrew from their studies and are returning to complete their senior year in college/university. This program is intended to give women financial assistance to successfully complete their senior year and graduate after having taken a break(s) in their educational career.
One to two awards up to $1,000 will be given annually.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a female, New Mexico resident who: Has completed her freshman, sophomore and junior years of collegeIs returning to college to complete her senior yearHas taken an official break during her educational careerWill attend a New Mexico college or university for a minimum of one semester during the 2024-2025 school yearWill be a full time or part time student for the 2025-2026 school yearIs able to demonstrate graduation within three semesters (explain in essay). What is your graduation plan?Can demonstrate financial need (preference will be given to these applicants)Submit official transcripts from every college attendedDoes not already have a bachelor’s degree
