Partnership For Caring Grant

The Maine Education Association's Partnership for Caring program provides crucial support for local affiliates facing unexpected expenses. By matching contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,500, MEA empowers educators and their families during challenging times. This initiative underscores MEA's commitment to enhancing the welfare of its members and ensuring equitable education for all students in Maine. MEA offers awards and grants to members to both honor and support colleagues and your work.
Under the Partnership for Caring, the MEA will assist local affiliates to meet exigent expenses of an unpre-dictable nature incurred by members or their immediate families. Specifically, the MEA will match, dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,500 in contributions raised by a local affiliate or combination of affiliates to meet such expenses.
