Overview: Competitive grant program providing funding to organizations and government agencies to prevent litter and support cleanup efforts across South Carolina.

  • 2018-2019: Awarded $213,071.00 to 32 groups and organizations

  • 2020: Awarded $199,296.00 to 43 law enforcement agencies, governmental departments and nonprofits in 33 counties (requests totaled over $700,000)

  • All grant recipients must participate in a community cleanup event (Great American Cleanup, Adopt-A-Highway, or other planned litter pickup event)
