OnPoint Community Credit Union: Support for Schools Grant

OnPoint Community Credit Union, founded in 1932, is committed to supporting schools through funding for educational programs and direct contributions to public schools, PTAs, and alumni associations. With a focus on Economic Opportunity and Community Vitality, they prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in their funding initiatives. Grants typically range from $250 to $2,500, supporting organizations that align with their core values within Oregon and SW Washington.

NOTE: For 501(c)3: application cycles pen twice a year, Round 1: February 1 – March 15 Round 2: August 1 -September 15.
Background
Established in 1932, OnPoint Community Credit Union has become Oregon’s largest credit union with over 500,000 members. As we have grown, so has our commitment to community engagement, from the volunteerism encouraged among employees to direct financial support of schools and nonprofits.
Through an inclusive and equitable approach, OnPoint supports organizations in our membership area that align with our core impact values. We offer funding for community grants, sponsorships, and schools making a positive impact.

Economic Opportunity

In addition to funding educational programs delivered by 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations through our charitable grants program, we are proud to support public education through direct contributions to:

• While we will consider all eligible requests, our average contribution ranges from $250 to $2,500 for support for schools.

Eligibility

Organization must be classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or as a K-12 public or charter school, school district, education foundation, college, university, PTA, PTO, or Booster.Your service area is within the OnPoint region of Oregon and SW Washington.Your organization’s mission aligns with our core focus areas of Economic Opportunity and Community Vitality.We are able to consider one grant request per organization in a 12-month period.
