  • In 2019 (10th anniversary of OnPoint Prize), an additional $2,000 grant was added

  • 2019 winners included 5 schools total: 4 schools receiving $1,000 each, and 1 school selected by community vote receiving $2,000

  • 2019 had 9 finalists with 4,256 votes cast for the community choice award

    1. Bridger Scholars Program, Portland Public Schools - $2,000 (community choice) - for mentoring and recognition to help students achieve academic success
    2. Friendship Courtyard, Molalla High School - $1,000 - to redesign interior patio into inclusive space
    3. SUN School Homework Tutors, Prescott Elementary School - $1,000 - to introduce certified teaching aides for homework help
    4. Special Needs Projector and Sound System, Tucker Maxon School - $1,000 - to provide wireless audio technology for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
    5. Ballet Folklorico After School Club, Vose Elementary School - $1,000 - after school program for 2nd and 3rd graders
