    Eligibility

  • High school seniors from Marion and Polk Counties
  • Eligible school districts include: Salem-Keizer, North Santiam, Silver Falls, Gervais, Central, St. Paul, and Regis St. Mary Catholic School
  • Designated scholarships for:
  • - Students of color - First-generation college students (first in family to attend college) - Career and technical education students

    Named Scholarships

  • Phil Frey Memorial Scholarship: $3,500
  • Gordon Sawser Memorial Scholarship: $3,500
  • Both honor former Maps board members

    Selection Criteria

    Awards recognize students who demonstrate:
  • Academic achievements
  • Perseverance in face of challenge
  • Dedication to community service
  • Passion for their career paths

Supports post-secondary education (college, university, technical training). Foundation's mission focuses on three impact areas: Education, Economic Empowerment, and Vibrant Communities.
