The trustees have broad discretion about what to fund and they endeavor to honor the memory of Mrs. von Weber by making impactful grants throughout the granite state to a wide variety of charitable organizations.
What We Fund
The Trust funds worthy charitable projects throughout New Hampshire.
Past projects have included support for energy efficiency initiatives to lower operating costs and provide a return on investment – projects that, over time, will have the ability to permit a grantee to sustainably expand its reach or achieve its charitable mission with greater efficiency or impact. Instances of the latter have been offering statewide challenge/matching grants to incent others to support fundraising for the arts, social service agencies and – occasionally – novel ideas that require unique funding to come to fruition.

Eligibility

The Madelaine G. von Weber Trust accepts funding applications from New Hampshire-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.Applicants should demonstrate good governance, a sustainable program, strong community/board of trustees support, a track record of valuable service to the community and a compelling rationale for why the requested funds are needed.
