Overview

Bradley-Turner Foundation Grant What we Support Over 95% of the Bradley-Turner Foundation’s historical giving has focused on Columbus, Georgia and the Chattahoochee Valley. Areas of primary interest are: strategic capital campaigns, programs and scholarships devoted to students in need, community-wide initiatives focused on tackling systemic challenges, public and social infrastructure projects, arts and culture institutions, local and regional colleges and universities, and any organization or program addressing chronic needs within the Chattahoochee Valley. We are here to listen to all ideas, but we are limited in what we can fund. Please reach out to us if you feel your work falls within our guidelines. Growing our community isn’t possible alone, and we believe that true partnerships among committed organizations and individuals is the only path forward for lasting change and success. Funding The average grant size is $50,000, though gifts can and do range higher, depending on the request.

Ineligibility

What we do not support: Annual funds, individuals, personal loans, festivals, fundraising and special events, conferences, films, booster clubs, individual churches, organizations without a 501(c)3 status, and private preparatory schools outside of the Chattahoochee Valley. The Foundation will, on occasion, consider requests for general operating support, though such support is generally tied to a broader program, a long-term partnership, or strategic initiative. While the Foundation will consider multi-year gifts on a case-by-case basis, it is the preference of the trustees to make one-time gifts that can have an immediate and lasting impact. For any capital campaign request, it is the Foundation’s preference to not commit to more than 25% of the total project. Strong, widespread support is crucial to any project’s success.
