Program Description

Provides opportunities for children to participate in ongoing after school enrichment opportunities. The Enrichment Program Wish requests are unique to the needs of each child.

Eligibility

• Age: 6 to 18th birthday (or graduation from high school, whichever comes last)
• Status: Homeless, low-income, or in foster care
• Geographic scope: Whatcom or Skagit County residents
• Family eligibility: Eligible family may receive up to three Little Wishes per calendar year
• Income verification: Required (eligible for free/reduced lunch under WA State OSPI Guidelines qualifies)
• Identification: Required for parent/guardian and child

Funding Priorities

Grants Little Wishes for ongoing support of lessons and activities including but not limited to:
• Art lessons
• Music lessons (piano, violin, guitar, etc.)
• Martial arts
• Team sports
• Individual activities (swimming lessons, dance, ballet, gymnastics, ice skating, ice hockey, horseback riding, soccer)

Application Status

CURRENTLY FULL - Organization is sponsoring over 130 youth with ongoing enrichment activities. Applicants are encouraged to monitor website for application updates.
