Overview

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

Geographic Scope: Monroe County, Indiana

Overview: Four-year, full tuition scholarship for high school seniors to pursue baccalaureate degrees at Indiana colleges or universities. Program administered through the Community Foundation in partnership with Independent Colleges of Indiana and the Lilly Endowment.

Award Information:

Four-year full tuition scholarship

Up to $900 annually for required textbooks and equipment

Two scholarships awarded annually to Monroe County residents

Eligibility Requirements:

Residency: Must be a citizen of the United States and legal resident of Monroe County, Indiana

High School: Must attend an accredited Monroe County high school and/or Indiana Academy

Duration: Must have attended eligible school for at least three consecutive years

Graduation: Must graduate by June of scholarship year

GPA: Cumulative GPA of 3.70 or above (weighted four-point scale) through end of junior year

Plans: Must plan to pursue full-time baccalaureate course of study at Indiana college or university beginning in Fall of scholarship year
