LGBTQ Support Grants

The LGBTQ Support Grants aim to foster inclusivity and support for the LGBTQ community in Northeast Florida. Established by the LGBTQ Community Fund in 2014, these grants are available to nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status serving counties including Duval and St. Johns. The program focuses on priority populations such as aging adults, black/African Americans, gender minorities, and youth, while also addressing broader community needs through funded projects.

LGBTQ Community Fund
The LGBTQ Community Fund for Northeast Florida’s goal is to support organizations that serve the LGBTQ community with a focus on building greater togetherness within our LGBTQ Communities and to support Northeast Florida welcoming and celebrating its LGBTQ Population.
The LGBTQ Fund grants to nonprofit organizations in Northeast Florida (Duval, Nassau, Baker, Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns counties) that support our LGBTQ communities.
LGBTQ Priority Populations
Priority Populations have been set in response to community-level data and analysis about the pressing needs of the LGBTQ community in Northeast Florida (please see Williams Institute Report) although projects benefiting other LGBTQ populations will be considered.

Eligibility

Eligibility for Nonprofit Organizations:Active 501(c)(3) status
Located in and serving at least one of these counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns. Applicant organizations must demonstrate that their membership and/or service population are contained within the Northeast Florida‐area and must agree to use grant funds solely within Northeast Florida

Ineligibility

Projects that promote political activity or religious views
Projects typically the funding responsibility of federal, state or local government
Requests outside our region (must be in: Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam or St. Johns counties)
