Kellogg Youth Endowment Fund Grant

The Kellogg Youth Endowment Fund provides annual grants to support programs and activities for youth in Houghton and Keweenaw Counties. This fund aims to address community needs in areas such as education, arts, and recreation, encouraging innovative projects that demonstrate potential for positive outcomes. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, schools, and organizations directly benefiting local youth. Grants cannot be used for political campaigns, ensuring a focus on community enhancement and youth development.

Field of Interest Funds
Field of interest funds are created to provide annual support for grants targeted toward specific areas of community needs and interests, to meet changing conditions and/or enhance the quality of life in the Keweenaw. For example—the arts, the environment, youth activities, recreation, education, etc. You identify your personal interest area when making your gift; our board awards grants to community organizations and programs that are making a difference in the area you select.

Eligibility

Nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, and community organizations serving Houghton and/or Keweenaw countiesTribal nationsOrganizations outside this area that seek funding for projects directly benefiting these communitiesProjects must benefit youth in grades 7-12 in Houghton and Keweenaw counties. Applicants are encouraged to involve youth in project development. Grants will be made to organizations or programs previously demonstrating successful outcomes or to new, innovative organizations or programs with clear potential for positive outcomes.

Ineligibility

No grants may be used for any political campaign or to support attempts to influence any governmental body other than by making the results of nonpartisan analysis, studies or research publicly available.
