Kamehameha Schools used the building from 1950 to 1962 to board female students attending the schools. When the home became so old it could not be repaired, it was demolished and the property sold. The Ka'iulani Home for Girls Trust was established in 1963 and it continues the original mission of supporting Hawaiian females.Eligibility
