Roger and Helen MacArthur Scholarship Fund Grant

The Roger and Helen MacArthur Scholarship Fund, established in 2018 by the Hawai‘i Community Foundation, provides post-secondary scholarships to students in Maui County. With an average award of approximately $6,000, the fund aims to support residents demonstrating financial need, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and commitment to community service. Preference is given to students with prior awards, those pursuing nursing degrees, and individuals in leadership roles within extracurricular activities.

NOTE: The Application deadline is represented by the Pre proposal deadline. The Letters of Recommendation deadline is represented by the Full Proposal deadline.
Scholarship funds have varying award amounts ranging from $1,000 or less to several thousand dollars. The award will depend on the size of each scholarship fund, the number of qualified applicants, and the preferences of the donor(s). The average award for students is approximately $6,000.
