Hatano Scholarship Fund was created in 1987 through the generosity of Mr. Yasuji Hatano, President of Kokusai Motorcars Company of Japan. The scholarship was established to recognize men and women from Maui, Lanai, and Molokai who have excelled academically and have shown leadership and community involvement.
