The goals of our foundation are: To be a model of charitable giving to children in the San Francisco Bay Area. To support tuition assistance, technology, and learning in pre-K-12 schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. To assist major museums, cultural and non-profit organizations with their educational programs for children and families in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Joseph and Mercedes McMicking Foundation (The Foundation) is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life, primarily to benefit San Francisco Bay Area residents through contributions, grants and scholarships for the education and welfare of children and their families. The Foundation does not generally provide support for:Grants to individuals or loansOrganizations in support of activities to influence legislationThe Foundation does not assume an obligation for permanent support of any activity. However, it will consider grants for two to three years when the goals of a project require further financial support.
