Decentralized Pictures Film Financing Awards

Decentralized Pictures is a non-profit that offers film financing awards decided by its user community. Filmmakers from all walks of life can submit projects to the active awards running on the DCP platform, which include financing and support from the organisation's network of industry partners.

The process runs in three stages. A filmmaker starts with a creative concept and gathers the materials that express the vision; uploads the project to the DCP platform with a pitch; and then goes through the community review process, in which users rate each submission. Top-rated projects may receive funding, support and opportunities through DCP and its partners.

Finalists and awardees are matched with DCP's network of industry partners to help them make their films and advance their careers. Votes are weighted, and users who take part earn reputation — which increases the weight of their vote — along with TALNT tokens that can be used to power future submissions or staked on the platform.
