Innovative Education Grants

Program Overview:
The Humble ISD Education Foundation funds innovative, creative projects that enrich student learning experiences and support Humble ISD's mission of developing each child intellectually, artistically, emotionally, physically, and socially so that all students are lifelong learners, complex thinkers, responsible global citizens, and effective communicators.

  • Departments throughout Humble ISD

  • Volunteers and non-district employees (must collaborate with a Humble ISD employee)

      Requirements

    • Volunteers and non-district employees must collaborate with a Humble ISD employee to apply
    • Grant winners must submit progress reports to comply with Foundation Grant Agreements
    • Mid-year and final reports required

    Application Process

    Timeline:
    1. Application opens September 17th
    2. Submit application before 11:59 PM on February 16, 2026
    3. Applications evaluated and selected for funding in April
    4. Award winners notified on Prize Posse Day

    Submission Requirements:

  • Submit online through the application portal

  • Volunteers and non-district employees must attend workshops with a Humble ISD educator representative

  • Both parties must register for online workshops
  • Post-Award Requirements:

  • Mid-year progress report

  • Final report

  • Reports must be submitted on time and online to be eligible for subsequent year grants
